CL Development presents its newest, patented suspension product exclusively available for Subaru. Originally designed and engineered for the Impreza, the X-brace fits all sedans MY02+ (2.5rs/2.5i, WRX, and STi) and will soon be available for wagon models. The X-brace bolts directly behind and flush with the rear seats, continuing to allow use of pass through and without any loss of trunk space. No body modifications or drilling are needed to install.
The results are positive and immediate. With the X-brace reinforcing the chassis, the car now handles how it was meant to, without body flex. Without the chassis acting as a spring, suspension is now fully able to do its job, allowing for smother and more precise suspension feel.

How it works...
Due to the rigorous demands of WRC racing, the Impreza has one of the best chassis on the road. It is so good in fact, that typical horizontal strut braces (front or rear) DO NOT WORK. (see graph below) The X-brace manages to lock the chassis at its weakest point, the gaping hole behind the rear seats. The results are utterly amazing.
